See below: A 5 month old with respiratory symptoms such as coarse, mucous sounding breathing but with no signs of respiratory distress like wheezing, increase work of breathing, shortness of breath or struggling to breath can be watched and treated supportively with suctioning of nose and mouth with saline, a humidifier, and sitting propped up to help drainage. No meds are available. If worsens - get seen!

LUNG CONGESTION: It, s better to be seen by md to rule out pneumonia if associated with fever and poor feeding. Sometimes it can be just bronchiolitis but needs to be seen also. You can increase the humidity in the room by using vaporizer.
