Is the lactulose-mannitol test very accurate in the diagnosis of intestinal permeability?

Should be: There is somewhat limited literature, but it seems to be a reasonable test. However, "very accurate" is subjective; it appears to have about 90% sensitivity, only about 50% specificity though.
