Yes: If the portion of breast removed for biopsy had contained cancer, the pathologist would have seen it. You can have your biopsy reviewed by additional pathologists. You know that fibrosclerosis is extremely common and adenosis very common and simulate cancer on mammography and physical exam. Stay vigilant as a real cancer may arise after a benign biopsy.
