Get X-ray: See doc make sure you have not fractured one of the many small bones in your hand or wrist.

Get an X-Ray: You didn't say when you did this. I would get it checked out. Hitting a wall can fracture the metacarpal head or the base near the wrist. Injuries to the base can also result in a dislocation which can cause problems later. You need to get an x-ray to see what is wrong. Ice, elevation, Ibuprofen will all help.
