See a dermatologist: Probably no. Chronic urticaria-----hives for 6 weeks------is usually not an allergy. Avoid aspirin, alcohol, and penicillin. Meanwhile try certirazinre( zyrtec) 1 or 2 or 3 a day. Be careful if it makes you sleepy.
