Neuralgia: Sounds like neuralgic pains. See a neurologist becoz simple pain killers won't help. You need thorough evaluation as to the cause behind sudden onset of such pains. Sometimes finding and treating the cause helps but many times; cause remains obscure, in that case meds like Gabapentin ( prescription only) helps.
