Is it more dangerous to obese in your later years than when your younger ? what are the effects of a life time of obesity ?

Good Question!: There are some studies that suggest that people who have been mildly overweight and who exercise are at less risk, than those who were slender until their late 30's or 40's and then put on not as much weight and never exercise. On the other hand, chronic excess wight over a lifetime adds up to the wear an tear on the weight bearing joints, your pancreas, liver and kidneys as well as your heart.
