Obese: Well, by the bmi definition, yes. A bmi above 30 is considered obese. Morbid obesity, however, is a bmi of 40 or greater if you have no medical problems, or a bmi of 35 or greater if you have medical problems like high blood pressure, high cholesterol, sleep apnea, diabetes, etc.
