Caprylic Acid: Caprylic acid is one of the three fatty acids (along with capric acid and lauric acid) that are found in coconut oil. It is a potent antifungal that kills candida cells, as well as restoring your stomach acidity to its normal levels.

Varies: Caprylic acid is found in small quantities in coconut or palm kernel oil so i encourage my patients to cook with these during treatment for candida, etc. I use the pure encapsulations brand of supplements and their caprylic acid as they use natural ingredients and every product they make is batch tested by an independent lab so what it says is in the capsule is actually in each capsule.

Coconut : Coconut oil would be the best plant based source of caprylic acid. Cows milk is high in it too but of course is not plant based.

Caprylic acid: Both coconut oil & palm oil contain 6-8% caprylic acid. The seeds of another latin american plant, c. Pulcherrima, (aka lythraceae) contain 70-94% caprylic acid (depending on source consulted). However, commercial availability in the us of latter source is uncertain. Caprylic acid is used in parenteral nutrition & reportedly can be used against candida fungus & some bacteria. Ask doc b4 using.
