Discrepancy: If the report says four core biopsies, and the doctor who performed the biopsy says five, you should ask the doctor who performed the biopsy to clarify the discrepancy.

One of the : Cores may have been spread out on a slide. Also, sometimes later cores give only blood and not a lot of tissue. They can make a diagnosis with the cores that they have. I would not worry about the biopsy. Hope the path does not show anything bad.
