Add Metformin: Metformin is an anti-diabetic drug that is very helpful for weight loss. It restores Insulin sensitivity, normalizes blood sugar, and reduces Insulin levels. Insulin is the hormone that enables sugar in the blood to enter the cells, where sugar is stored as fat. My patients on metformin say they feel better, have more energy, and lose their carbohydrate cravings. It is very inexpensive.
