Not much longer: Actually i don't know if you got Haldol (haloperidol) in a shot or a pill which could make a difference. There's also a long-acting shot, but i doubt you got that. You didn't mention when you got the haldol, (haloperidol) but side effects from it (depending on dose) could last for a few days.

Hours to a day: If the symptoms that you describe have been present for more than 24 hours, you need an antidote to those side effects. These are known side effects of haldol (haloperidol). Call our doctor and tell him/her about these problems. Also find out if you were given short acting or long acting haldol (haloperidol). There are both prescription and over the counter medications that could help.
