Depends on SE: Several medications are used with Haldol (haloperidol) to reduce side effects. Most commonly, the biggest problem is what are call eprs (extrapyramical resactions). Anticholinergics are highly beneficial, and a commonly used one is benztropine (cogentin). Agitation also sometimes occurs as a side-effect, and a benzodizaapine such as Lorazepam (ativan) can help with that.

Haldol (haloperidol): Several medications have been tried, depending on the side-effect, such as Cogentin or Benadryl (diphenhydramine) for extra pyramidal symptoms.
