Calories = weight: 5000 calories in food equals one pound of weight gain. Normal daily activity burns about 1500 calories per day. Simple math for net weight gain depending on how many calories taken in. Muscle mass is healthy and fat gain is not. Do more resistive than cardiovascular exercise to build muscles. Eat protein, not fat calories to remain healthy in this endeavor.
