May be a lymph node.: I am guessing it's one of the lymph nodes in the posterior cervical chain; they run from behind the ear down the neck. Lymph nodes are found all over our bodies; they trap debris and help us ward off infection. This might also be a sabaceous cyst. Call your doctor if it seems infected, or if it feels very firm or is getting significantly larger. Lgromkomd.
