Usually: Eusachian tube dysfunction starting during or immediately after radiation therapy for head and neck cancers or brain tumors will usually resolve with a month or two. However, it can sometimes persist longer, especially in some nasopharyngeal cancers when the tumor was very close to the eustachian tube and it received a higher dose. In these cases an ENT may be able to help.
