Abruption: Abruption and toxemia commonly are seen together because of the high blood pressures seen in toxemia. I'm not sure what you were given high doses of but Pitocin (oxytocin) in very high doses can contribute to abruption also. Hopefully your next pregnancy will not be so complicated.
