Beware mixing opiate: Beware of mixing opiate pain killers yourself. They can have dangerous effects unless properly prescribed. Do not combine medications prescribed by one doctor with those prescribed by another. If you need stronger pain medication, seek the help of one doctor specializing in pain control and be sure he knows about all medication you are taking.
