General exam: Most go to a hematologist because of a blood disorder on referral from a family doctor or internist. You may be anemic or have some other problem in that system. The hematologist will ask about your symptoms, give you a general exam, probably draw blood to analyze its composition and may order a few other tests depending upon these results. Usually nice guys = don't worry.
