A member asked:

What is hrt? how is it given after the setting of menopause?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hormone Replacement: Hrt is hormone replacement therapy, or estrogen (occ with progesterone) given after the levels drop at menopause. There is a lot of disagreement and discussion as to whether, what, and for how long to give hrt. Some don't recommend it at all. There's been a lot of hyper, but only a little science. Check w/your doctor.
