Anything cause this?: Traumatic injury? Or have you always had this problem? Either way, you need to first see a dentist for a thorough examination and to take radiographs (x-rays) or a 3d cat scan to help determine your exact problem and to determine the appropriate treatment.

Select a dentist that routinely treats TMJ with functional orthopedic type appliances. Many dentist treat tmj, however only about 5% are really good since they are able customize your treatment by selecting from multiple customized treatment modalities.
