Pain, swelling: Pain and swelling are the two classical symptoms. Even if you are not sure, see your dentist asap as infections will not go away on their own even if the pain does. Infections can spread quickly and cause serious complications including death.

The signs are: Severe, sharp, persistent, throbbing tooth pain. Pain when biting or drinking cold or hot.. Swelling of your face or neck. Fever and swollen lymph nodes.This is a serious medical condition and need to be addressed immediately.
