Why do skulls have teeth? why can we still see them after death?

Calcium composition: Bones and teeth are made of a calcium matrix not easily digested by the microorganisms that eliminate the soft tissue of the deceased. So a skull will have intact its teeth. Eventually even these components are degraded but it takes a much longer time.

Nature: That is how nature made you over millions of years of evolution. Teeth are used in defense, chewing, and speech.
