Why is it important to resume a normal diet right after teeth extraction?

Why Not: Once healing has progressed to a usable point, there is no reason not to resume a good balanced diet.

Healing and health: You want to be healthy so eat healthy. A nutritious diet is always part of a healthy lifestyle. Your body needs nutrients, especially when your body is stressed and has to undergo a healing process. You do need to be a little more careful what you eat and avoid eating anything that might disrupt the clot in the extraction site. Follow the directions of your dentist and ask if not sure.
