Constipation : This tends to be mediated by hormonal changes related to pregnancy. Frequently women are constipated during pregnancy and it resolves afterwards. Laxative such as MiraLAX (polyethylene glycol) may help.

Dehydration and meds: This is a common complaint. Typically, it is related to dehydration with breast feeding, narcotic pain medications and inadequate soluble fiber. Drink extra water and get 30 grams per day of fiber. Consider stool softener if on pain meds.
