Not usually: People with asperger's often have high social anxiety because the world is confusing to them -- but they're not usually overtly paranoid. Sometimes there may be co-existing conditions that bring in paranoid symptoms. It can also be misdiagnosed -- which is why working with a mental health professional experienced in such differentiations is important.

Confusion: For folks with asperger's, the world is a confusing place and there's a tendency to misunderstand the behavior of others. Get confused enough, and a person gets suspicious that may seem irrational. This is how it was explained to me anyway.
