Should i go to er if i had a faint positive pregnancy test result and the next day(today)started bleeding heavily along with unusually painful cramps?

No: That does not sound like an emergency and you should be able to see you doctor. If you are bleeding excessively (more than a pad per hout for more than an hour) you do need to be seen and may need to have a d&c.
