My girlfriend is in early stages of pregnancy. earlier today she had very light bleeding almost watery and now she has bad pains and passed a clot.

May need evaluation: Passing clots is nothing but the accumulation of blood in the vagina. It is not prognostically worse than the bleeding itself. If the pain and bleeding continues, she should be evaluated by a physician.
