Thrombus formation: Not sure where your bleeding occurred, but it is normal for a area of bleeding to initially be watery, then turn into clotted / thrombosed blood which has more of the consistency of jello. This is the body sending clotting factors to the area to stimulate clot formation so that you stop actively bleeding. Pressure to an area can help speed clotting. See a MD is u need to determine bleeding cause.
