A member asked:

My period is irregular and i also have hight prolactine.i started taking dostinex8days ago and still no period..is this normal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Elevated levels of prolactin can interfere with ovulation and as a result, your periods can be irregular, even absent. It can take some time for the levels to normalize. After that happens, you cycles will most likely become regular again.
