Family practice : You shouldn't have to take anything for the hepatitis a infection you had in 1980. This is a self limiting infection you get from contaminated food or fecal exposure not lasting effect. Ask your dr what you should take.

Sertraline & Iodine: I agree with my colleague that you (and your liver) should have no ongoing ill effects from hep a over 30 years ago. Barring other problems (like alcohol abuse, etc) your liver should be able to deal with zoloft (sertraline). The 12.5 mg iodine sounds like a supplement for your thyroid. Check with your own doctor about need for this -- you may be able to get this through food (including seaweed).
