Depending: Depending on how old your son is ... This shouldn't be a problem. Zoloft (sertraline) is generally indicated at 25 mg. for ages 6 and up. Just head back to the lower dose tomorrow. Hope that helps!

How old is your son?: Either way just do not take another zoloft (sertraline) until the following day. The higher dose of Zoloft (sertraline) may cause him to have some more sedation, or mood irritation, or concentration problems/disorientation, but otherwise should be transient and should not last beyond 12-24 hours. Watch him closely. It should not kick him into serotonin syndrome which is life threatening.
