Yes: There is no conflict between these 2 -- and 12.5 mg iodine is a fairly safe dose. Talk with your doctor about whether you really need this, though. There can be many reasons including thyroid support -- but i don't know enough about you to guess. People also get iodine through their food, including kelp, other herbs, dairy products, meats, and eggs.

Why iodine?: Why are you taking 12.5 mg of iodine? It can adversely affect your thyroid and often leads to skin rashes. What medical condition is being treated? Don't get your medical information from tv or the internet.
