DBT: Bpd is a cluster of traits (erratic and dramatic) that form one's personality. Things are often black or white to these individuals- nothing in between. Love/hate. Bpd causes distress to the individual as well as those around them. Dialectical behavior therapy, or dbt, has proven highly effective for individuals with bpd. Medication to manage the moods is a great/sometimes necessary adjunct.
