Lots of fluid: If it's a true uti, antibiotics may be necessary. You should see your doctor. Cranberry will help acidify the urine and prevent future uti. Drinking lots of fluid, and emptying your bladder frequently are very important when you have an infection, but there is very little data to suggest other juices or drinks work for acute bladder infections.

Hydrate w water.: Cranberry juice may help with prevention - not treatment. Cranberry juice can help to prevent urinary tract infections (UTI's) in women with recurrent UTI's because of the proanthyocyanidins (PACs) it contains.
