There is a burning on the outside tip of my right heel when i flex my foot . it is also numb in that same spot.

Nerve issue: Those symptoms sound like a nerve entrapment. The sural nerve runs along that course down the leg into the foot. If it is entrapped or injured, burning pain would be likely. See a podiatrist, neurologist or physiatrist. You will probably need nerve conduction studies to localize the injury.

Can be a neuropathy: This can be caused by a neuropathy which is a damaged nerve. I would recommend that you see a local podiatrist or neurologist and be further evaluted.
