It can: Not knowing any other details, ask your doctor about your lipids and how to manage them. Could you consult with a hepatologist? This would be a gastroenterologist with extended expertise in liver. Even a gastroenterologist would be a good specialist for further input.

I was treated with Penicillin for primary syphilis a month ago. Currently, Lymphocytes is 48.2% (Ref:20-40) and ESR is 14 (Ref: 0-10). HIV, HCV Ab, HBsAg are -ve. Is it normal for lymphocytes and ESR to stay elevated? Or could it be another infection?
