A member asked:

Doctors, is it normal to feel the buckle after sceral buckle surgery?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Scleral Buckle : How long ago was the surgery? Most patients can "feel" the buckle for some weeks after the procedure, and then they gradually get used to it. Where and how much you feel depends on where the retinal tear was and where the buckle is applied. Naturally, the best person to call if you are still concerned, is your ophthalmologist.
