Psoriasis?: Psoriasis involves both these areas and could fit with this description. There are many different prescription creams as wells intralesional treatment which can help this condition. An effective over the counter product to alleviate the symptoms is scytera foam. If the response is inadequate see dermatologist for evaluation amd treatment.

Many things: Rashes can be caused by many things. The areas where you describe the rash sounds like it could be psoriasis but you would need an evaluation by a doctor to determine for sure. Unfortunately rashes have to be seen to be diagnosed and treated. I would seek care with your doctor and if necessary, see a dermatologist (skin specialist).

A 28-year-old member asked:

Will I be able to breastfeed if I have had a breast reduction?

Dr. Robert Benner

No: Most women who have had breast reductions will find it difficult to nurse, and some may find it impossible. There's no harm in trying but it is important to be realistic. The operation relocates the nipple and disrupts the nerves that signal the brain to produce and release breast milk when the baby sucks. Sometimes there is adequate nerve function and with persistence nursing can succeed.

Since I became pregnant, i've had major breakouts. Is there anything I can do to make sure I don't get acne scars?

Benzoyl peroxide: Most of the OTC skin products for acne are safe in pregnancy. Simple soap and water works great, as long as you understand that the high Progesterone levels in the first trimester are the cause for acne -- by the end of the third month, most major flare-ups are over.

If I have had one seizure in the past is it safe to undergo a light hypnosis for anxiety I do take Dilantin which is a untheroputic level?

Get off it: Dilantin should be relegated to history. It is an old drug of high toxicity and major problems with use. Talk to your doctor about getting off or at least changing to a newer and safer seizure medication.

I get a sharp pain that runs from my right wrist up to my elbow that goes away after a few minutes. No past injuries; didn't hit my arm. What is it?

Carpal tunnel: Your symptoms could indicate carpal tunnel. If you do alot of typing, writing or anything that entails alot of wrist/ elbow movement then it is a possibility. You can try to use wrist brace and see if that helps. These days xbox, ps3, txt msging on small phone screens can all cause it..
