A ? for your OB: As part of your regular early obstetrical care the obstetrician does some basic assessments of the shape and size of your pelvis to see if appears adequate/borderline/or worrisome for a regular delivery.As the baby grows, size will factor in.Later, the position of baby, head or rump down will factor in as will the babies condition during labor.I've seen 13.5 pounders deliver from below.
