Thyroid: If your thyroid levels are normal while taking the thyroid hormone, there is no effect on blood pressure. You can take both the thyroid hormone and blood pressure medications.

Check w/your doctor: If your blood pressure is consistently elevated, you may need your doctor to adjust or change your blood pressure medication. Kidney function may also need to be reevaluated.
