Ask your surgeon: With an operation this recent you should definitely be following the specific instructions given to you by your surgeon or that surgeon's assistants. If you don't understand the instructions, call them to ask. It would not be appropriate for other surgeons to step into the middle this early on. Good luck.

This should have...: This is something you should have gone over with your surgeon, well before the operation. You can postpone the surgery until all questions have been answered. They should be!
