Sleeve: The surgeons fee is only part of your cost. The hospital facility fee can be $20-30, 000 alone, so even if a surgeon didn't charge you, you are still looking at some significant cost out of pocket if you don't have insurance.

Highly unlikely ;...: Even if you somehow found a doctor willing to donate his or her time you would still have to pay for hospital/nursing/anesthesiology/facility fees which would be substantial. One problem is you are dieting "off and on"; the only way to maintain weight loss is permanent diet changes that you never go off. I advise dr. Fuhrman's nutritarian diet as well as regular exercise.
