Follow doc advise: There are many causes for thyroiditis. Acute, subacute, hashimoto's, postpartum, drug-induced...Some thyroiditis recovers on its own and does not need treatment while others need definitive treatment. We now have effective options to treat these conditions. See you doctor so he/she can formulate a treatment plan for you or send you to an appropriate specialist.
