Hip surgery on right hip. how long will you be laid up. and what can you do and not do after surgey. it wasnot broken its needs to be replaced.

3-6 weeks : It depends on the instructions of the orthopedist. They all have slightly differeing post-op restriction. Generally, you should be fairly active and approaching normal about 3-6 weeks after surgery.
