Ear drum ok?: First, it depends on where the fluid is coming from. If your ear drum is open, this is the most likely source- your middle ear. Then, it matters what the fluid looks like. Does it look like pus? Then you have an infection. Does it look like water? Then it could be spinal fluid. Meniere's disease does not produce ear drainage.
