Follow up: We can't be too specific, sight-unseen, but 2 days post-op some swelling is pretty typical. Depending on how many teeth were recently extracted and the levels of infection that may have been present, it could be expected or not. If you have concerns, have the dentist take a look and advise you on possible treatments and meds that are appropriate for your situation.

Nothing, time: If your teeth were removed 2 days ago, and everything is healing well, and you have no infection, then it will just take time for the swelling to go down on its own. Definitely not cold! mild heat may help, but without being your dentist of record, i would not recommend it. The best thing to do is to speak to the dentist who actually removed your teeth for advice and guidance. Feel better soon.
