Can i put hydrogen peroxide on an open wound?

It will: It will only help if the wound is crusty.

Don't: Peroxide disrupts healing tissue the only reason to use it would be to clean dirt and debris once from a very dirty wound but flushing with saline would be greatly preferable.

Not advised: Hydrogen peroxide impairs wound healing, use a commercial wound irrigation solution, which any drug store can help you with. Just saline (salt water) is acceptable.
