Mass: You need a diagnosis for the mass. I'm sure your doc has some plan for establishing that. If needle biopsy not doable, should discuss what dr. Feels next step should be. Next steps may be different depending on facilities and staff available.

Further testing: A pet scan would be helpful to tell if its a malignancy. If a needle biopsy isnt feasable a thoroscope using fiiberoptics can be used to biopsy the lesion.
