Gas or cyst: You may be bloated during your cycle and have increased air in your stomach and intestines, which shifts when you lay on your side, and causes discomfort. Breast tenderness is due to change in hormone levels throughout your cycle. It does not mean your breasts are growing, although they may be temporarily larger, then return to usual size at a later point in your cycle.

Chest Soreness: It is quite common for the breast to swell and feel sore during the hormone surges that accompany your menstraul cycle, even if you never had this before with your periods. At your age, cardiac problems are not likely. I would give your gynecologist a call and discuss your symptoms and see if he has any suggestions. He is familiar w/ your medical history and can give you the best advice.
